How it's made
Four steps, no shortcuts.
Every piece is cut from full-grain hide, stitched by hand, and finished one at a time. That's why it costs what it costs, and why it'll still be in service in twenty years.
Cut
Full-grain hide, selected and cut to the pattern. No bonded leather, no corrected grain, no filler.
Stitch
Saddle-stitched by hand with waxed thread. Two needles, one seam. If a stitch fails the rest hold — machine stitching unravels.
Finish
Edges burnished, hardware set, interior fitted. The part nobody photographs is the part that decides whether it lasts.
Break in
It leaves stiff and darkens with use. In a year it'll carry the shape of your hands. That's the point.
